ELISABETHAN…CLOTHES WITH A HISTORY

We are so pleased to present the eccentric, stylish and comfortable clothing designs of Elisabeth Delehaunty, a perfect fit for the Glennie Coombe Gallery. Beth has assembled a one-of-a-kind boutique of casual garments made entirely from “archival” recycled clothing parts. These very cool hats, jackets, shirts, scarves, skirts and vests made from “experienced textiles” are surely among the most user friendly you will ever wear. Elisabethan has togs for kids, too!

Ms. Delehaunty, recently married to furniture designer Peter Clary, delivered newspapers in high school and college, worked as a seamstress and costume designer for the college theater, and somehow managed a degree in Art from Dartmouth. She has single-handedly built her thriving designer enterprise by force of inexhaustible energy and determination. Needless to say, she is a staunch environmentalist and everything she makes is Approved for People and Planet as a member of Co-op America. Most of all we appreciate Beth’s mischievous personality. She is a pip.
